Easy Roasted Turnips Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Turnips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Fine or coarse sea salt
- Ground black pepper - optional
Instructions
- Get all the ingredients together.
- Get the oven ready by preheating it to 400 F.
- Wash, peel up and trim the turnips while the oven is being heated. You can simply scrub off little turnips, or you can leave the tiny turnips as whole; chop the little chunks out of bigger turnips.
- Take a baking pan and keep the prepared turnips on it. Drizzle up some olive oil upon it. You can use two spoons or your hands to toss the turnips nicely. Coat up the turnips entirely with oil, sprinkle some salt upon it.
- Keep roasting the turnips until browned or completely soft. Check them after thirty minutes. The turnip pieces might take some time to get tender, about an hour or more; it depends upon the size of your turnip pieces.
