It is obtained from the meat of domestic sheep and is called a lamb, hogget or mutton around the World. While a sheep is of one year, it is called as LambLamb and the meat obtained from it is also called as LambLamb. Whereas it is called hogget when it turns two and then mutton after it turns older. Goat meat is referred to as mutton in the regions of the Caribbean, and South Asia and ground lamb recipes are mostly made here. Ground Lamb 1 lb

Crumbled feta one fourth cup

Chopped mint two teaspoon

Lemon juice one teaspoon

  • In a bowl, combine lemon zest, feta, yogurt, mint, salt, and pepper.
  • Take the ground lamb and shape them up into four patties. Make a small hole in the center and season them well with salt and pepper.
  • On a large iron skillet, pour some oil and cook the burgers for six minutes at least till it turns a slight pink and has crispy sides.
  • Toast the buns and add the yogurt sauce on each plain side. Shift the patty, red onion, Arugula, and cover it with the top bun.

One chopped onion

  • Pour red wine into it and cook for 5 minutes till it gets reduced.

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper and keep the oven for preheating at 425 degrees F.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs and drizzle it with oil.
  • Bake for 20 minutes till it turns golden brown.
  • In a food processor, add mayonnaise, yogurt, chives, parsley, Oregano, garlic, and lemon juice. Adjust the salt and pepper according to the taste.

Ingredients-

Active dry yeast one teaspoon

Extra virgin olive oil one tablespoon

Honey half teaspoon

Salt half teaspoon

Warm water three fourth cup

All-purpose flour one cup

Ground cumin half teaspoon

Garlic one clove.’

Sun-dried tomatoes one fourth cup

Parsley leaves two teaspoons

Eggs 4 nos

Turkish red pepper paste one tablespoon

Procedure-

  • Combine the wheat flour and all-purpose flour with salt in a small bowl.
  • In a bowl, take warm water and honey. Then sprinkle yeast over it and wait till it gets a little bubbly after 5 minutes. Add the flour mixture into it along with olive oil. Knead it properly till a dough is formed. Then transfer the dough to another oil applied bowl and cover it.
  • Keep the dough in a warm place for at least one hour. 
  • On the other side, heat oil in a skillet and cook the onion for 4 minutes at the least till it becomes translucent. Then add garlic and the LambLamb into it and season it well with salt and pepper. Break the LambLamb with a wooden spoon and cook for 3 minutes till it is slightly pink. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, cumin, red pepper paste, and stir for one minute. 
  • Keep the oven for preheating at 450 degrees F. Place the racks in the oven on the topmost and third shelf. For at least 5 minutes, preheat the baking sheet.
  • On the other hand, knead the dough and divide it into four balls. 
  • On the baking sheet, arrange the doughs and keep a distance of at least half-inch in between and bake for 2 minutes on the third shelf.
  • After that, pour the lamb mixture on it, keeping a gap of half an inch around the corners.
  • Bake for at least six minutes till the crust is crispy and serve with parsley on the top.

Tip- You can crack an egg on its top too as it tastes well with it. This ground lamb recipe is one of the unique ground lamb recipes and one of my favorites.

Ground lamb one and a half pound

Minced garlic cloves- 2

Garam Masala two teaspoons

Tomato paste four teaspoons

Ground lamb 1 lb

Kosher salt one teaspoon

Garam Masala one teaspoon

For Curry sauce-

Chopped shallot one

Fennel seeds one teaspoon

  • Cook the sauce for at least one minute and pour the coconut milk.

Ingredients-

For the spice mixture-

Whole peppercorns two teaspoons

Cumin seeds one teaspoon

Bay leaves- 2

Cloves- 2

Coriander seed two teaspoons

Cayenne pepper half teaspoon

Kosher salt three teaspoons

Dried Mango Powder one teaspoon

Paprika two teaspoons

Aromatics-

Cilantro leaves two cups

Roughly chopped four garlic cloves

Roughly chopped one medium onion

Four Thai chilies

Procedure-

  • Roast peppercorns, cumin, coriander, cloves over medium heat and stir continuously so that it doesn’t get burnt. Add in a blender with bay leaves and grind coarsely.
  • To a food processor, add cayenne, red onion, dried mango powder, cilantro, ginger, chilies, garlic, salt, and make a fine paste of it. 
  • Take the mixture in a double layer of cheesecloth and press hard to remove all the water from it. Continue doing so till the mixture turns dry and has no moisture in it.
  • Take the lamb mixture in a bowl along with the blend of spices and fold properly so that the mixture is blended. Keep the mixture covered for at least 6 to 7 hours.
  • Next, take the mixture and divide its portions.
  • Shape into a cylindrical shape and pierce through skewers carefully.
  • Make sure the mixture is not broken on any side.
  • Grill the kebabs on an open grill or charcoal grill for at least 5 minutes or more till the kebab is golden in color.
  • Keep on the serving platter and garnish it with lime wedges, cucumber, cabbage, or red onion slaw.
