Method
- Take a large pot and heat some butter in it over medium-high heat flame. Pour the carrots and onions, and keep cooking till it is wholly softened and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Pour some flour and stir it consistently. Cook it for almost a minute.
- Very gently add the chicken broth, and whisk the dish consistently. Simmer it lightly. Mix the corn, ham, thyme and potatoes into it.
- Simmer it well until it becomes soft and occasionally stir or for 25 minutes. Pour the bacon and heavy cream. Keep cooking for five extra minutes, and serve the dish.
