Ingredients
Method
- First of all, prepare the puree of fresh strawberries. Blend the water, strawberries, and sugar in a blender. Blend all of the ingredients until you get a uniform puree. You will approximately get 3 cups of strawberry puree by this recipe. However, you would need only 1/3 part of it for the recipe. You can preserve the remaining puree for the other drinks in the upcoming week.
- Take a bowl and pour the matcha powder in it. Pour one tablespoon of hot water. Whisk the matcha by using the right matcha equipment, and whisk it intensely so that a paste gets produced. In the end, you will get a very thick consistency. Afterwards, pour the leftover 2 ½ tablespoons of hot water into it and whisk it again to clear all the clumps.
- Stream your strawberry puree in a tall sized glass of your choice.
- Afterwards, pour ice cubes and then milk. Make sure you gently pour the milk upon ice cubes so that it will very subtly blend with your strawberry puree. To maintain the separate layers of the milk and the strawberry puree you should always avoid directly pouring the ice cubes.
- At the end, gently stream the matcha on the iced milk. Always pour it gently, so that the layers remain separated. Serve the drink!
