Classic Baked Beans Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 tsp Spanish Smoked Paprika
  • 300g 1 1/3 cups Passata
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1/4 cup Chicken / Vegetable stock
  • 300g can Haricot (Navy) beans

Method
 

  1. Take a saucepan and heat oil in it over medium heat.
  2. Pour the garlic and let it sizzle for some time. However, do not let them get burned.
  3. Decrease the heat flame to low, drizzle up smoked paprika, stir it some time.
  4. Pour the passata. Stock and simmer it for 20 minutes after you puree it well.
  5. Pour the beans, and for constant 10 minutes, keep simmering it.
  6. Season it well for extra taste.
