Best Oven Beef Jerky Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce Gluten free
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 pounds Beef eye of round or sirloin tip roast
  • 1 1/2 tsp Liquid smoke
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ancho chile powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Get rid of all the extra fat from the beef roast. For 30-45 minutes, flash freezes the beef until it is frozen on the exterior yet tender and soft from the inner part. This will help to cut your beef thin. Afterwards, slice the beef roast into 1/8-inch thick strips against the direction of the grain.
  • Take a large zip bag and keep the beef strips in it. Pour all the leftover ingredients into the bag. Lock the bag; afterwards, shack it and season the beef, coat every strip well.
  • Keep the bag inside the refrigerator, let the beef marinate for at least 2 hours, but you should keep it up to 12 hours. Let the beef marinade for a longer period, and it will have a better taste.
  • Heat up the oven for 175 degrees F when you are ready to bake. Get 2-3 large rimmed baking sheets and line them with foil, and keep the baking sheets on pans.
  • Allow the excess marinade to drain and keep the strips in a single layer inside the baking racks.
  • Keep baking the beef jerky for 3-4 hours, to the point you get desired evenness and texture. Take one piece and let it cool after 3 hours mark. Afterwards, test the taste and texture; keep baking if extra baking is needed.
