How to Cook Corn on the Cob in the Microwave

Ingredients
  

  • 1 to 4 fresh Un-shucked sweet corn
  • Cooling rack or cutting board

Instructions
 

  • Keep one to four ears of corn in the microwave. Keep them un-shucked in a single layer in the microwave.
  • You can set them on a microwaveable plate if you would like to. Cook the corns in batches if you want to cook more than four corns.
  • Microwave the corn of ears for 3 to 5 minutes. Microwave it on high for 3 minutes if your ears of corns are two. Microwave the corn for 4 minutes, for three to four corns.
  • Microwave the corn for an additional minute if you would like to have soft corn or if the size of your corn is much larger.
  • Let it get cool. Keep the ears on a cooling rack and let them get cool. When the upper part of the corn is cool enough to touch it, very gently shuck the husks. The ear of corn would stay very warm in the husk and simply shuck the ears of corn just before serving.
